Meetings and working groups focused on health will take place August 15 through 21. These will specifically address the region’s aging population and strengthening healthcare systems through accessibility, sustainability and quality of care. The meeting will conclude on August 20 and 21 with the High-Level Meeting on Health & the Economy, in which Chile’s Health Minister, Jaime Mañalich, will participate.
The Services Summit will follow as part of an effort to provide the final push for the Bogor Goals through meetings on domestic regulations, competitiveness and transparency and predictability in the development of laws in this area. This event will be held August 18 through 23.
